Tai Chi-Qi Gong Class on Wednesdays!

Posted by Cindy on August 31st, 2011

Tai Chi is an ancient mind-body practice that originated in China as a martial art.

It is a gentle series of slow, fluid and circular movements.

“Qi”, of “chi” is your vital life energy.

Qigong is the focused practice of cultivating chi and consists of breathing exercises integrated with movement and meditation.

In 2006 a study was published by Stanford University, researchers reported significant increases in balance, flexibility, upper and lower body muscle strength and aerobic conditioning in people who practiced Tai Chi on a regular basis.

Join us in the new weekly class and feel the joy and vitality of being truly centered and balanced.

Beginners are most welcome.
